RC Excitement was started in April of 2001 in Worcester, MA, out of the idea of having a place to play in RC.  It was a natural transition from a club, CMRC or Central Mass Radio Control that our President Todd Anderson had started in the Spring of 2000.  Our first location was in a 7,000 sq ft space of a large old warehouse on Harlow St. in Worcester, MA with one 50’ x 70’ Off Road dirt track and a small retail area.  After 4 robberies within the first 2 years, it was time to move and we relocated to a larger facility on Pullman St. Worcester, MA, with a larger track and shop.  After only 9 months and a building owner change RC Excitement was left homeless.  From there, it was a 6-month and 53 location search, before settling into our current 15,000sq ft, almost 4 acre property at 208 Bemis Rd Fitchburg, MA.That was in 2004, and we’ve been here ever since.
